Chapter 1 · Why parents choose us

A patient, loving place to begin school

Choosing childcare is one of the hardest decisions a parent makes. Your child will spend many formative years at school, so you want somewhere patient, loving and genuinely invested in them.

Our teachers are dedicated to our students and their families. We work to understand every child’s growing needs and keep communication with parents open and transparent, so children get the support they need both at school and at home.

Our campus gives children a safe space to explore and thrive. It is filled with nature, and the food is vegetarian and mostly organic — the love and peace that form the foundation of a joyful childhood.

Thank you so much. Heera loved to go to school everyday and she didn’t even say she’s afraid or bored even for one day and always spoke great about all the teachers and kids in school. All in all she had the best time for the last 2.5 years. Thank you

I’m so grateful to have found Gopa Montessori and Ms. Mathura. ❤️ I still remember Heera’s very first week of school and how loving Ms. Mathura’s mom and all the teachers were with her. You all created such a warm, loving, and nurturing atmosphere for my child to grow in. 🥹🙏

Gopa parent

I will forever be grateful for everything you have done for her and will never forget you all throughout my life. ❤️🙏

As my husband mentioned, not even a single day has Heera cried about going to school, and I think that itself speaks volumes about the wonderful love, care, and comfort you all have given her. Knowing that she was always happy and excited to go to school gave us, as parents, so much peace and happiness.

Thank you so much, Ms. Mathura, Ms. Mounika, Ms. Nithya, Ms. Santhoshini, and Ms. Rishali. 🙏❤️❤️❤️

Chapter 11 · Meet our founder

From code to classrooms — a journey led by heart

Mathura Ramkumar studied Computer Science at Anna University and built a career in IT, working in various roles across different companies.

Along the way, her non-profit work with children through the Art of Living changed everything. That passion for kids inspired her to switch careers: she became a Montessori-certified early childhood instructor and taught in four different schools before starting her own — Gopa Montessori.
