Our philosophy

Curriculum

Montessori philosophy believes in independent learning in an assisted environment, with teacher guidance and materials that are self-guiding in nature.

How our curriculum grows

Each learning area is a petal. Together they help a whole child bloom — tap a petal to explore.

01

Practical Life

Designed to help children become independent and self-reliant. Lessons focus on everyday tasks — caring for oneself and the environment — and on developing social skills. With plenty of practice, children learn to take charge and grow into confident, capable people.

02

Sensorial

Helps children refine all five senses. Activities include seeing differences in size and shape, matching patterns, and spotting similarities and differences — sharpening perception and teaching children to explore the world around them.

03

Math

A complete set of lessons, from recognizing numbers and counting to multiplication and division. We teach each concept in more than one way, so children build a strong, well-rounded foundation.

A child placing tiles on the hundred board
A child fitting pieces into the fraction circles
04

Language

Language is the key to communication. Children name objects, build vocabulary, learn phonics, build simple words, read complex words, then simple and longer sentences. Grammar is introduced when a child is ready, and repeated activities reinforce every concept — repetition is how children learn.

Science

Traditional Montessori doesn’t include science, but we think it matters in today’s world. Our lessons cover geography, physics, botany, zoology and astronomy, giving children a well-rounded understanding of the world.
